Alright, there's been talk of a General Sports thread for some time now, because the people from the Unbounded Conversation say that it's taking up space during an actual conversation. (like there's many conversations going on to begin with) So, here it is. Post anything sports-related here! Remember, Unbounded Conversation rules apply. |

Watching you from the shadows

(Might as well make a post.) I hate P.E. at my school. You are given choices on what sport you want to do for the next 8 weeks, but sometimes all the sport choices which are there I hate. So I end up doing a sport which bores/annoys me for two hours a week. However, sometimes the sport choices which are there I find okay. |

Hmm, I got an idea, maybe we can make this just for whatever, kinda like the one in General Wrestling but if it's more about the NFL, just post in that thread. Like lets say that it's about the Vick thing, we can just post in here. But game related should have there own thread. So what do ya think? |

Fine, Mr. -O-, always getting what he wants. Jimmylord: The school I went to is a majority black school. So can you guess which sport we had to play for practically the whole year?

You're right! It's fair! You got your way! Sheesh! Do I sound hostile or annoyed to you? Geez! Get back on topic, already! That's what you're trying to do, is it? You didn't want this thread, so you're trying to put off-topic propaganda: The same off-topic propaganda that can go in the off-topic thread in here! A-ha! Caught you! |

In my area, we have exact stereotypes. Most, if not all the blacks play basketball, and like every single Hispanic plays soccer. And I get into neither, so gym class, and overall life her can get a bit annoying, especially when nobody wants to play baseball. |

I guess it's like that around my area to but because you're white or a light skin color, you aren't good at B-ball but I proved my boys wrong when I did it.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty awesome. I love rooting for the underdogs. Moving towards baseball, I'm still psyched over that no-hitter. They're showing the game again right now and it was just incredible. All of the reporters were raving about how great Pedroia's snab was, but they haven't even acknowledged Buccholz's sick play in the eighth. I really hope they keep this guy up in Boston because when Schilling's gone, I'm sure he'll do a great job taking his spot. |

Eh, to be honest, I don't think he'll last long. Everytime there is a huge sensation, it always seems to eventually fall through, because the only place you can go is down. Take Aaron Small, for instance. He went 10-0 in his first 10 games with the Yankees, but have you even heard his name since then? Same thing with Phil Hughes. He was the #1 prospect for the Yankees, threw a no-hitter through 7, then gave up like 5 runs in every game since. He'll have a good future, but he's not looking like that pitching prospect right now. |

Anyone see the match between Haas and Blake? It was an awesome fifth set by both men, though I was rooting for Haas the entire time. He let the game get away from him, Haas had the game won but made too may mistakes and let Blake make a comeback. Tommy Haas, not Charlie Haas. It looks like it'll be Roddick vs. Federer again! And we know how those matches turn out Aw come on! No tennis fans? You all suck
