I read a report that he was getting fired as a wrestler but getting hired as a trainer in Florida, but that report could bot be confirmed. So, I guess we'll have to wait and see.
So...then why did they bring him in as a wrestler in the first place? Was it just to see if people still cared about "Eugene"?

I'm so glad he got dropped, what a sad character that was. If he stuck around he would have been put in a "comedy" script with hornswaggle or something.

Speaking of Hornswoggle, the fans are finally start to turn apathetic towards him, slowly but noticeably. I wouldn't mind seeing his name in this thread by year's end. :crossfingers:

Eh... here's why Eugene got fired.

Quote:

According to WWE champion Randy Orton, former WWE wrestler Eugene (Nick Dinsmore) was released from the company due to weight issues. Orton says Eugene returned to WWE heavier than management preferred.

"Eugene was just given a second chance," Orton was quoted by the U.K. Sun at a Summerslam promo. "He came back two weeks ago and came in a little heavy from where [management] wanted him to come in."

Dinsmore was fired from WWE in 2007 when he violated the company's Wellness Policy three times. Orton says he was disappointed that he came in overweight after he went to bat for him to get his job back.

"Nick is a good friend of mine. I pulled some strings to get his job back and he comes back all overweight," Orton said. "So all in all, I am a little upset with right now with him."

Dinsmore first returned as Dinsmore on non-televised Smackdown house shows before appearing randomly on the August 10 episode of Raw in a "contract on a pole match" against The Miz.

Did they not see him or talk to him before hiring him back? Honestly, you'd have to be pretty fucking dumb to hire someone and then notice how they look. It tells you how much they pay attention.

Well, they hired an overweight Chris Harris before (i think he wasn't in shape by the time WWE hired him, or maybe I'm wrong). You would think they would check out the weight and physical state of the wrestlers that they hire, but nope?

Who do you guys think will be the close to being released?
My picks are - Tyler Rexx, Burchell SP?, Tommy Dreamer, Kane, Noble, Festus, Haas, Wang Yang, Fu Naki, Curt Hawkins

Some of these guys have been hanging on, i honestly don't know what they get paid to do, but it better not be much.
The only person i mentioned that i would be sad to see go is Paul Burchell.

World Wrestling Entertainment released former Tag Team champion Lance Cade on Friday. Cade was brought back to the company in October 2009 but was never used on the main roster. He popped up in developmental and waited for a new role to be assigned to him but nothing ever came about. During his previous run, he was last associated with Chris Jericho during Jericho's feud against Cade's trainer Shawn Michaels. We'll have more on the release when we hear it.

Who are these guys? Slam Master J, Kung Fu Naki,
Slam Master J was formerly known as Jesse, who teamed with Festus. He is also the son of Terry Gordy from The Fabulous Freebirds. Kung Fu Naki was the name of Funaki's latest karate gimmick.

I'm more surprised about Mickie James' release than Shelton Benjamin's. I'm guessing that Mickie requested her release because she definitely seems like the kind of girl WWE would have wanted to keep for a while. Wouldn't be surprised if Benjamin fell into the same boat. Quite frankly, I am expecting both workers to wind up in TNA.

I'm honestly more surprised about Funaki than I am Mickie, although Mickie sucks about 10 times more...I mean it sucks about her leaving, that is. :shifty:

Mickie is basically starting her music career, isn't she? Maybe she got the Maria treatment and got released so she can actually pursue future endeavors she has in mind. Like said, I don't see Mickie as one the WWE would want to get rid of anytime soon due to her capabilities.

I'm still surprised about Funaki though. I mean he could have been released in 2003 and nobody would have questioned it. I thought because he lasted this long he would be a lifer. Or maybe they just forgot that he was on the payroll all these years.

Regarding Mickie James' shocking release today from WWE
, she was fired because she more than once on the European tour arrived late for the bus, holding up travel.

That was considered the straw that broke the camel's back dating back to her being disciplined by being sent to SmackDown! due to substandard performances and issues with her weight. They were also not happy with her music aspirations. Maria felt the same wrath with her release from WWE. WWE management doesn't take kindly to their talent doing outside projects while working a full-time WWE schedule.

According to a source, she had just beaten a bad staph infection and was lucky to return in time for Wrestlemania
. Many felt she should have been more professional in her dealings with WWE.

Acceptable double post.

So the music was at least part of it. Interesting to hear her holding up the buses, but I can see how in such a stressful situation somebody being late for a bus or something like that could be really irritating. Although I can't believe they're really putting the thing about her weight so seriously. I thought she was friggin hot the way we was, and it even served as fodder for McCool and Layla's storyline with her.

WWE released Katie Lea Burchill on Thursday.

I suspect Mickie James will be in TNA in about 90 days. It'll be interesting to see if Shelton goes to TNA or joins Charlie Hass in Indy-Hell. The other names, I could care less about.

Wow wwe axed Mickie. Mickie was like biggest face draw diva of the company. Those bastards.

And those fuckers dare to say she is fat. She is more perfect.

Man I would so give a piece of my mind to those cock suckers.
