I wonder how Cena's character's wife will be kidnapped. And will he be a police officer or a member of the military? Oh, maybe a fireman this time! |

Keep up Matty. That's going to be quite a stretch for him. A lot different than the other characters he has played. |

Mickie James played on Psych (as I'm sure you all know). Her role wasn't really that big. I'm sure Cena will get the same treatment. He'll be there and get a few lines, but he won't take up too much space...if you know what I'm saying. As long as Gus and Shawn play off each other with quick jokes, then I don't think even Cena can make the show bad! |

Watch, Cena will be to Psych what Steve Austin was to Nash Bridges - a reoccurring character that often has much of the focus on him. |

Juliet O'Hara is a regular member of the cast and his characters last name is O'Hara, so I suspect he will be her brother. That can have him come back whenever they want. |

Perhaps we'll just make this the official Psych thread? Talk about the show each week? Sounds good to me. The first post talked about Cena being on the season premiere of Psych. I thought it was odd that WWE didn't mention it (unless I Fast Forwarded through it) and that the preview commercials for the premiere didn't mention it. As it was, Cena was not on this week's episode. Guess he'll be on just sometime during the season. ![]() This week's episode was just OK in my opinion. It wasn't a really strong season premiere. It felt more like a mid-season filler episode. I hope this isn't a sign that the series has jumped the shark .

I didn't see it since the Yankee game ran a little *chuckles* late on Friday. I'll find both Psych and Monk online to watch today or something. Alright, both episodes are on Hulu so I'll watch them this afternoon. Edited by WWEWhoseLine48, Aug 9 2009, 12:17 PM.

Pretty good episode. I'd put it in the lower half because I didn't find it as funny as a lot of other episodes, but it had a good story to it. Said what it had to say about Shawn and Jules...Okay, Juliet, and did it in a way unique to the show and not getting away from what the show is about. When it comes to most comedies though, I think the funniest episodes are almost always in the second and/or third seasons, since they could do anything at that point without having to add twists like the idea of relationships and big changes that make the show more about the story than simply comedy. If that makes sense. It doesn't mean the show isn't as good, but most of the time it won't be laugh-every-two-seconds like it used to. (see: The Office, how Season 2 was totally awesome, season 3 was okay, and after that was funny, but had to rely on long-term storylines like Michael Scott leaving or Michael and Jan, or Scrubs, which was the best during that same time, was alright after, then turned bad, then was okay again at its end). Has anyone seen this week's episode of Psych? I think it was the best episode of the entire series thus far. It started with Lassiter getting into a gun fight with an unknown gunman in a known cop bar. Then it proceeded with that unknown gunman targeting everyone that worked a specific case. It was a great episode. And speaking in general, I really miss the Juliet/Shawn storyline. Every show has that one storyline where two character chase each other. They put that on hold when Shawn started dating Abigail, but we haven't seen Abigail since then (even though Rachael Leigh Cook is fricken hot). They either need to bring Abigail on the show more often or restart the tension between Juliet and Shawn. |

I want to see it, but Hulu hasn't updated the episodes. Actually I didn't even know I missed an episode because they never showed the repeat on USA, but I watched the exorcist one yesterday on Hulu. That was pretty funny, especially the Brett Favre reference. I'm trying to find out when USA is showing a repeat of Psych though since it's not usually until the weekend or Friday before the next episode. |

Maybe they'll break up and the Juliet storyline will start back. I mean, I get what they are doing: prolonging the storyline by adding a temporary roadblock. Once Shawn and Juliet hook up the storyline will be over (like all storylines like this) but I enjoy the chase. |

They did this for a couple of year with Jim and Pam on The Office, then they started going out at the end of the season before last. Then all last season they were going out and stuff, no issues or anything, so it's not like ending the chase totally means the end. Although with Shawn and Jules, you're talking about one of the two main characters this happening to (compared to The Office where Jim and Pam are one of like 10), so it would have to be in the spotlight most of the time. |

Good episode last week. Eh, I can wait on Shawn/Juliet. We already know how they feel about each other. Once they hook up the tension and storyline will be gone. Man, I'm loving all these cheap shots they're taking at other shows/people. First The Mentalist, Favre, and now Fringe

I thought this week's werewolf episode was kind of weak, but I liked how they started the show with Shawn and Gus watching the Royal Rumble and even creating their own action figures. Wonder who put all that pressure on the writers to include shows from the same network.

I didn't see it last night so I'm going to try and catch the replay tonight at 11. Same with Monk. I don't think I can wait over a week to see the episodes on Hulu, especially since they come on after the next episode airs. Well, actually they show replays Friday afternoon so I might catch it then too, but I still don't want to wait a week.

As cool of a heel that he played in BTTF, he goes and pussies out on Psych by not only playing for charity, but by using them as his excuse for winning. Dude, way to fall.

I liked the Fall Finale episode. It's my second favorite episode of the season so far, behind the episode where Lassiter gets stalked. No more new episodes until January. They showed a clip of John Cena when talking about the guest stars that'll be showing up in the next batch of episodes. Angry Cena made angry faces. |

Going back to my original post, it says that Cena will appear on the season premier, so maybe they were talking about the premier in January. |

You know, I didn't find Cena to be as annoying as I thought he would. He's not actually that bad of an actor. I mean, he shouldn't do it full time, but for a guest actor from a cross over show, not terrible. Plus, I'm not sure if you can attribute it to just Cena, but Psych not only got its highest ratings ever, but got some high ratings over all. Stacy Keibler is on this week's episode.
