Is it just me or does the main event for Turning Point look better than any match at BFG?

Minus the first one, TNA has been getting better at their graphics.

One Day The Booze Will Make Me Brave Enough
I said this in the Impact thread, but the matches TNA has set up and seems to be planning for make this PPV seem like the best that they have had...ever.

Well, they've still got Lashley vs Steiner to add to the card. That's going to be a GREAT match, huh? :twitch:

I haven't made it that far into Impact yet (CSI was a repeat this week. ). I stopped right at the Nash/Joe vs Styles/Daniels match. Still waiting on this Wolf guy to show up. He must come out at the end.

He comes out in the middle and the end. I put a detailed report in the Impact thread, but if you are watching it online, I'd just watch.

Good move. I like the new direction so far for TNA.

There is an extremely good chance that this could be the first TNA pay-per-view I ever put money down for. The main event is bound to be decent, as is Beer Money versus the Guns.

Shaping up to be quite a solid show. Wolfe better beat the hell out of Angle.

Yeah for the most part it looks like it could be very enjoyable as long as clean finishes outweigh the cluster fucked finishes.

But you have to be expecting some kind of Hogan swerve here. It's obvious that they are going to wait until this PPV to do anything with Hogan. What does he do when he appears? How will it affect the storylines they've started (and hopefully continue) for this PPV?

I think they'll announce Hogan as the new TNA GM/Authority figure at this PPV. If not, then maybe at the next PPV or at Impact.

Wouldn't that basically kill Foley's position, though?

Hogan will come in and win the World title on the ppv like he did at WM when he beat Yokozuna in about 10 seconds.

Team 3D & Rhino vs Matt Morgan, Hernandez and D'Angelo Dinero

The tag team title match has been changed to add in Beer Money. And I believe the Team 3D match is the final match to be added to the card. This is the final card as advertised by TNA.

Man, I've really been out of the TNA loop for too long. The last I saw, Team 3D were feuding with Rhino. I watch CSI for a few weeks and now they are teaming. Can someone fill me in?

Yeah I haven't been watching either, so the 3D and Rhino pairing doesn't make sense.

That is really the only weak looking match on the card. This looks like a very strong PPV on paper. Probably TNA's best looking PPV of the year. The main event has the potential to destroy. The Angle match has the potential to create a new star for TNA. The Tag Team Title match features 3 of the most exciting tag teams in wrestling today . The Steel cage match has two of the strongest knockouts in the company. The X Title match should be a good spot match. The Lashley/Steiner match won't be as good as the other matches in terms of wrestling, but could be a good knock-down-brawl type match. The Knockouts Tag match is the second least appealing match to me.

However, I still expect the Hogan swerve to happen somewhere. I don't know how, but Hogan is going to make his presence known at this PPV. You can count on it.

Rhino apparently convinced 3D to join his side because all three of them mutually believe that new talent is taking over the company. Weird group, but at least they're all former members of the original ECW roster.

So if someone pins ODB, they become Knockout Champion, but if they pin Wilde or Sarita, they're tag champs?

Heard the main event was pretty unreal, potentially even better than their original match together. Most wrestling websites are giving it four and three-fourths to five stars.

I'm surprised Hulk Hogan didn't make an appearance on this PPV. This is the problem with TNA. They announce that they sign big names, the public shows a little interest, then they don't use them for like 2 months after they first make that announcement. Remember when they brought in Sting only to have him do a retirement angle right after his first match? Remember when they said they brought in Lashley, but we didn't see him again for 3 months? Now Hogan. C'mon.
