PWU debuts on Versus this January

Its now official and confirmed, PWU (which now stands for Pro Wrestling UNSCRIPTED) will be producing monthly 2-hour pro wrestling television specials to be aired exclusively on the Versus network to be aired nationally. PWU's Executive Producer Matt Jolles has scheduled a very special press conference in downtown NYC on December 9th. Location to be announced soon, but tickets for January 9th will go on sale during this press conference on Dec. 9th. Tickets will be sold exclusively through TicketMaster.com beginning December 9th.

January 9th 2010 is PWU's first taping at The Pennsylvania Convention Center located at One Convention Center Place, 1101 Arch St. Philadelphia, PA 19107-2299. The conventions website for directions is http://www.paconvention.com. This event will host a TRIPLE Main Event, matches will be announced at the Dec. 9th press conference in NYC.

Here are the confirmed 2010 PWU TV taping dates for PA Convention Center......Jan 9th, Apr 10, June 12, and Sept 11th. Also PWU will be holding 2 TV tapings at The WildWood Convention Center in July. Look for PWU to debut in the following areas in 2010......NY, CT, Miami, Nashville, New Orleans & Los Angeles in no particular order.

Yesterday, Pro Wrestling Unscripted sent out a press release stating that they would begin airing a two-hour special every month on the VERSUS network. Pwinsider.com is reporting that VERSUS has denied that they would be airing the show on their network. Versus Senior Publicist Katie Bradshaw stated the following…

"There is absolutely no truth to this. It's not airing on our network."

Also, the Pennsylvania Convention Center, where the TV tapings were going to be held, has nothing wrestling related scheduled for the date PWU announced.

Shame, it's not like VERSUS has a lot going for it in the first place.
