WWF Royal Rumble 2001 (January 21, 2001) - 3 WWE Wrestlemania XXIV (March 30, 2008) - 2 Royal Rumble 2001 saw a great ladder match between Benoit and Jericho for the IC Title, the Dudley's vs E&C back when both teams were white hot, Kurt Angle vs Triple H in their great love triangle storyline, and Austin dominating the Rumble. WM, on the other hand, had the great-but-predictable Flair/HBK match and the Taker/Edge match. Rumble takes it. Legendary unforgettable PPV's. But we all know WM X7 was the best of all time nevermind the decade. I was kinda leaning towards WM XX cause of the triple threat main event but lets see what ol Cy thinks, so im making it a tie.

STATUS Sometimes goodbye is a second chance	To me, WM20 comes down to the following highlights: The Rock returning to a WWE ring, Goldberg & Lesnar both getting shat on by the crowd and Austin stunning the hell out of both of them, Eddie vs Kurt, Benoit vs Triple H vs HBK, and the Eddie/Benoit moment that gets the most recognition from this PPV. Contrastingly, RR01 comes down to the following highlights: Dudley Boys vs E&C when the tag team division was white hot and crowd pleasing, Jericho vs Benoit in an excellent ladder match, Kurt Angle vs Triple H with the incredible love triangle storyline with Steph, and Austin winning the Rumble. Comparing the two, the best things from WM20 was the crowd reaction to Lesnar vs Goldberg and Austin stunning both of them, and the Benoit/Eddie moment. RR01 had the Triple H vs Angle match, the ladder match, Austin in is prime, and an excellent tag match. RR01 just offered more.
