![]() This week's host: NASCAR driver Carl Edwards I don't know where WWE posts their official Raw previews, but from memory we have a three way Unified Tag Team title match this week as DX defends against SES and Miz/Big Show. We should get some update from Vince on why Batista attacked Bret Hart. Edge may make an appearance given that he can challenge the WWE Champion at WM. Last week's Raw was great quality. I expect a similar show this week as we continue down the Road to WrestleMania! |

How awesome would it be if DX was eliminated first so that we'd have the excitement of knowing new champions would be crowned, guaranteed, to finish the match? I mean, it's obvious that DX is losing, right? With WM coming and both men going into single's matches, there's no need for them to be tag champs. |

It's just some sort of mistake, that's all.

If DX loses, I think they will be the final team eliminated, unless HBK does Sweet Chin Music on Triple H by accident.. |

Matches with elimination stipulations are my favorite, so I'm glad to hear that the tag title bout tonight has been modified. Definitely expecting CM Punk and Luke Gallows to take the titles, while Shawn Michaels turns heel on Triple H at the last second.

Hopefully Punk and the Tard get eliminated first. But Im guessing MVP will cost Miz and Show, and Shaw will accidently hit Trips allowing Punk to win. Hahaha, cya Punk. Ya bitch. Edited by 15 Shows, Feb 9 2010, 03:05 AM.

RAW was awesome last night. From Christian showing up, to Punk being as useless as he was a year ago when i stopped watching, to Shawn kicking Teddy Long to Bret Hart showing up and attacking Vince. Awesome! |

Now Miz has three titles? Like it isn't awkward enough seeing guys walk to the ring with two titles! Perhaps something will come out of Miz saying they'll win all the gold. Maybe Big Show will go to SD! and win the IC Title. Or, better yet, let Miz win the IC Title and have 4 belts! AWESOME! |

Bret came across very weak last night. His attack on Vince was weak, his attack on the guards was weak, and he tripped pushing over stage equipment. If that segment was with anyone other than Bret Hart everyone would be crapping on it. |

does anybody really want to see Bret Hart wrestle? I know as a true Bret Hart fan I'm hoping he doesnt go through with this cause he's in no shape to be wretling and I don't want him to end up looking like Jim Duggan,Roddy Piper,Ric Flair, etc but I would like him to stay around and manage the hart Dynasy but watching him wrestle is going to be very painful to watch and scary especially since that thing on Raw almost fell on him. (damn hart curse) |

I was really hoping that Christian did not fall victim to Sheamus cleanly, but it is what it is. I guess the company has no true plans for him at the moment. Happy that DX dropped the tag titles, but Show and Miz are an odd pairing. Wouldn't it have made more sense for the belts to go to the Straight Edge Society? Cybrus is right about "Hitman" looking weak. I'm definitely nervous about a Hart versus McMahon match right now. In the end, last night was definitely a fun episode of Raw. Let's see if the writers can keep things consistent in weeks to come.

If there was anybody who didn't believe that WWE put their best stuff out right after the Royal Rumble, this year proves it. Raw in the months before the Rumble was some of the worst crap WWE has done since probably before the Attitude Era, now after it suddenly all the shows have a different feel to them and are actually quite entertaining. And they're really not doing much either, but it seems like they're putting on more quality matches and turned the quality of some of the angles up. Although the latter is something that is mainly due to WM and the build-up, I think if Raw had more quality matches each week all year, then it wouldn't come off as bad. Oh yeah, and Edwards was great last night. I marked out when he did the flip off the top rope in the beginning. For those who know nothing about NASCAR, whenever Carl wins a race he gets out of the car and does a backflip at the start/finish line. Now fortunately (for me, that is, being a Jimmie Johnson fan) he didn't do it once in '09, but he's a really cool driver and such so I like it. Edited by WWEWhoseLine48, Feb 9 2010, 10:39 PM.

So you're saying you're going to watch all of these feuds that are going on up until WrestleMania until you say "Alright, that was great! Bring on the next feud!" before the event even happens?

Raw wasn't bad last night, i don't watch Nascar at all but i thought Edwards was good on the mic and did a great job. What the hell is with Show and Miz winning the titles? They've been together 2 weeks? No MVP last night either. What's with WWE putting MVP in a storyline for less than a month and then sending him back down the card. I'd so much rather watch Miz feud with MVP than have him team with Big Slow. HBK going crazy about this match with Taker has finally made me the tiniest bit interested in what he is doing. Trips is going to become the angry H' we all love, you know, the one that wants nothing but the gold and will do anything to get it. Instead of the shit Trips that is with HBK doing comedy skits with Hornswaggle. Speaking of which, i think RAW has become so much better because they have been doing less crappy comedy skits, giving us the least amount of Hornswaggle they can and putting on serious, interesting storylines. |

You're absolutely deluded if you think the quality of matches has anything to do with how good RAW seems lately. The WWE could stack their shows with 5 star matches week in and week out and it wouldn't make any difference at all. What has made RAW so entertaining lately is long term planning, fluid storylines that actually matter and great angles. Yes Bret Hart looked a little weak but everyone knows it. The intensity is still there and that's what matters. Good thing Cena and Batista are going to be in that match though - should be good! An excellent RAW! |

Nope, it's the other way around I think you'll find. HBK is going to become possessed and HHH is gonna be a good guy. Undertaker sure as hell isn't going into that match as a heel so that leaves HBK... Edited by Nebz, Feb 10 2010, 08:10 AM.

Undertaker sure as hell isn't going into that match as a heel so that leaves HBK...[/quote] I agree, but HHH won't be the lovable comedy act he has been. He will be angry at HBK and will become the HHH that doesn't want anything but to beat HBK and to get the title. He will still be a face, but he won't be shit in his segments. I also forgot to mention, WTF was with Dibiase being jobbed to Cena AGAIN? I guess WWE are trying to squash rumours of Dibiase being the stronger of the 2 legacy members by having Ted job and Rhodes pick up a not so clean win. Edited by --CM DRUNK--, Feb 10 2010, 07:31 AM.

I've always thought Cody Rhodes seemed like the better one. But I think a better explanation of it all is that the Janetty thing is a rare occurance and that broken up tag teams more often than not find success spread out amongst all members? |

Well I have had a bit too much water lately... I didn't mean it exactly had to do with it, but better matches always helps the quality of the show. What they've been doing before the RR was put on a few 5-minute matches that were boring, and a predictable main event on top of those long-winded 20 minute promos that didn't do anything. Of course the reason it's become so entertaining is the storylines, there's no denying that. But to make an overall good show they also need to have the matches that can fill time and keep you interested in the rest of the show (and also the storylines), which they have been doing. |

I disagree. Good matches should be saved for PPV's and that's what's been going on. RAW and Smackdown are for developing PPV's and PPV's exist for their own benefit with the exception of the Royal Rumble and No Way Out (Elimination Chamber) which exist to develop Wrestlemania. |

I'm with you on this one. I feel that a HBK v Taker match exactly a year after they had their epic battle would take away from last years. Not saying it wouldn't be good, i just think it's to soon. |

That makes no sense. People are going to be more interested in a feud if it takes place a year after the original match rather than two years. More examples: People would have cared more about Bret Hart's return in 1998 than in 2010 People would have cared more about Goldberg in the WWF in 1999 than in 2003 |
