The reason Ezekiel Jackson won the title is because Vince McMahon wanted Jackson to have momentum as he will be heading to the SmackDown! brand. Some wanted to honor the old ECW on the show, including some old names coming back for cameo appearances, but the thought was that it was more important to get WWE NXT over, while closing out ECW as quickly as possible ok what now for the ecw title?

STATUS Sometimes goodbye is a second chance	I hope they don't use it as a real title. They can let Jackson brag about being the final ECW Champion and that'd be fine. But we don't need to see the belt on the show nor do we need to see it defended.

So the rumours are both Christain and Ezekiel to go to Smackdown! Do you think they will continue their feud or go separate ways? I personally liked "Big Zeke"

It's the same thing with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, which isn't the same thing as the old WCW World Heavyweight Championship. But of course I think everybody knew that and I just recited it to sound smart for once.
