Quote: It looks like Awesome Kong got her wish and is gone from TNA Wrestling. Kong posted the following on her Twitter account this afternoon: "I'd like to thank (Dixie Carter) and all of the employees at TNA for wishing me the very best in my future endeavors." It's been a rather tumultuous few months for Kong with the wrestling company. In January, she got mad at TNA interviewer and shock jock Bubba the Love Sponge for a derogatory remark he made on Twitter about raising money for the people suffering in Haiti. She took out her frustrations by punching him backstage at a show and was suspended for two days. Just last week, she filed a lawsuit against Bubba for him allegedly calling her early one more and spouting racial slurs at her. He has since denied the allegation. Kong reportedly asked for her release last month but the company did not give it to her. It was believed everything between her and TNA had been worked out but apparently not. She was one-half of the Knockout tag-team champions with Hamada so TNA will have to figure out how to explain that situation. Can't be surprised to see her go. It's still fucked up how she leaves and not that Bubba jackass instead.

Doesn't seem like Kong was fired, but more like she was granted her release from the company. Those Knockout Tag Team Championships will most likely be vacated now. STATUS Sometimes goodbye is a second chance	I had assumed that TNA had already forgotten about the Knockout Tag Titles. Sure, they are still listed on the Roster page as active titles, but when's the last time we've heard about the titles? I say good riddance. They were worthless and unneeded anyway.
