STATUS Sometimes goodbye is a second chance	Spoiler: click to toggle ProWrestling.net Edge started the show with a promo and the Big Show interrupted him.  Vince McMahon overturned Drew McIntyre's loss last week.  1. Matt Hardy defeated Drew McIntyre in a MITB qualifier. Drew threw a fit and yelled at Matt Striker.  2. Shelton Benjamin beat Dolph Ziggler.  3. Ezekiel Jackson squashed Jimmy Wang Yang.  Rey Mysterio did a scene in the locker room with his daughter and Tiffany.  C.M. Punk cut a promo about Rey and neglectful parents.  4. Rey Mysterio beat Luke Gallows. Rey ran out before he got his ass beat.  5. John Morrison and R-Truth beat Cryme Tyme and The Hart Dynasty in a Triple Threat.  I believe this was a No. 1 contenders match for a shot at the Unified Tag Titles. 6. Edge beat Big Show. Edge won with a spear. Jericho ran in and was speared by Edge. Poorly written spoilers notwithstanding, I'm actually kind of interested in what they are doing with Drew. He simply wasn't getting over as an undefeated heel. He's now lost two weeks in a row. Vince overturned the first loss. Will he overturn the second? After months of hearing how Vince handpicked Drew to be a World Champion, will we see Vince turn on him? Or is it going to be a storyline where Drew is dominate like he's been, but always falls short when he's got a chance to go up. He failed to win MITB twice in a row. Maybe?

He's just the big guy there to catch everyone or soften the blow of people falling from high places.

I don't mind though having one big guy in an 8-match match because it provides variety since you won't see Kofi chokeslam Christian off the ladder anytime soon. But I think the worst MITB match there was was the one that included Finlay and Ric Flair in it. At that point, it's just taking too much of the overall ability of the match to have those guys who are known primarily for wrestling on the ground and not flying. I don't want only high-flyers in the match, but I don't want to see half the spots taken up by Mark Henry, Kane, etc. either.
